Strategic changes can fundamentally alter how a home lives — and how it performs in the market.
Take a closer look at the design decisions behind each transformation.
The Challenge
The second floor had one shared bathroom serving three bedrooms — and no primary ensuite.
Generous in size but inefficiently configured, the existing bath presented an opportunity to rethink the layout.
There was just enough room to create two full bathrooms from one — but making both feel intentional and well proportioned required careful planning. Outdated radiators in both the bedroom and bath added another constraint.

The Work
With little room to spare, every inch mattered. Removing the radiators freed valuable space, and opening the adjoining bedroom wall created direct access to a new private ensuite.
The remaining footprint was carefully reworked to preserve a full hall bath.
