Melissa is drawn to homes that can be thoughtfully reimagined rather than replaced.

Her approach begins with what already exists — preserving original details, materials, and architectural character wherever possible, and enhancing rather than erasing what makes a home distinctive. Where spaces need to open up, it is done with intention, always balancing light and flow against the warmth and intimacy that make a house feel like a home.

Every decision is made with the future homeowner in mind — how they will move through the space, how they will use each room, and how the home can be made to to function efficiently and with ease. She places particular emphasis on flexibility, designing spaces that can adapt over time and accommodate the needs of multi-generational households — an increasingly important priority in today's market and a defining feature of her work.

The goal is never square footage for its own sake, but a smarter, more livable version of what was already there — homes that feel both current and considered, updated for modern living while preserving the character that made them worth reimagining in the first place.

INVESTOR + DEVELOPER​ ​

Melissa repositions single-family properties, overseeing each project from acquisition and design through construction and resale. 

She designs and manages the full process, coordinating architects, contractors, and trades through completion, and works independently as well as with partners to source and execute residential opportunities.

Her focus is on value-add properties in the $800K–$2M range, including outdated homes, estate sales, deferred-maintenance properties, and off-market opportunities in established Fairfield County neighborhoods.​
